Wolfgang & Rose Art is made up of Australian artist Rose Miller and her poodle “muse” Wolfgang.
Rose is the artist behind the name, the largely self taught painter has been painting for over 15 years, exhibiting within Australia and France. Her background prior to fine art was in fashion design.
Inspired by iconic design moments of the past and present, her paintings have a timeless flair that gives a nod to nostalgia but with a fresh contemporary edge. From Art Deco to Mid Century Modern, Rose’s aim is to create updated versions of these iconic ideals into post modern versions of visual beauty and design.
Using mainly oil paints and gouache, her original paintings have been collected widely within Australia and around the world. She is also a successful illustrator having her work licensed and comsissioned in various commercial media.
Rose and her poodle muse Wolfgang create art in their little but charming artist studio in Sydney Australia.
