Here is my latest painting I’ve been wanting to finish for ages! I’ve decided to name this lovely lady Vintage Blue. She has great hair doesn’t she,  I on the other hand have just had a recent disaster haircut…yet again!  My lovely husband has kindly offered that he will watch some haircutting tutorials on Youtube, so that he himself can have a go at giving me the particular haircut I am always asking for, but never get. Bless him.

Have a great week everyone!

Painted with love,
Wolfgang and Rose

  1. Many years ago in full blown PPD (post partum depression) I got myself a pixie cut, you know, super short, when I got home my new baby did not recognize me, I looked at myself in the mirror and I did not recognize myself either, I cried so much that I went back the next day to get it cut even shorter, I wanted just enough hair to cover my skull, no more, it was causing me pain… It was so short, I didn’t have to comb it, in fact, I started being the first one ready to go out, JA! I made peace with it 🙂 Anyway, the hair on the painting is amazing! Love how you captured the light and shadows to make it so…enviable… Beautiful!! Hugs, Alexandra

    1. Oh the pixie cut!! It always looks better in our imagination doesn’t it LOL!! My hair is now full of bobby pins holding all the straggly bits together so that I can make some kind of ponytail to mask my bad haircut!! Hope you are having a better hair year Alexandra. Big hugs to you too xxx
